  11. AmIRC is a client for the IRC Internet Relay Chat protocol.
  12. It's very fast, easy to setup and use, has an extensive set 
  13. of features and supports scripting.

  17. - fixed a few typos in the builtin english text.
  18. - The SendBrowser.AMIRX interface didn't work because the
  19.   path stuff was munged.
  20. - fixed nick changes to be properly tracked in the userhost database
  21.   (fixes QKICK problems with nick floods)
  22. - RDArgs wasn't every freeed, causing a memory leakage if started from shell.
  23. - added support for DALNET extensions: Reply code 328 (Channel URL)
  24.   and PART with additional parameter.
  25. - now accepts nick names up to 30 channels (for use on ArcNet and
  26.   DALNET)
  27. - fixed parsing of the undernet extended 392 message (messed up RPL_TIME).
  28. - on cut operation, normal channel text nick's are now enclosed in
  29.   angle brackets.
  30. - fixed cutting of channel text without prefixes.
  31. - fixed a few background setings of MUI objects.
  32. - "/?" now works different from "/help command"; /? only lists the command
  33.   template, whereas /HELP will view the guide entry as usual.
  34. - notify is fixed to not flood with n^2-1 userhost requests upon detecting
  35.   a bunch of nicks on startup. Also, USERHOST requests are now properly
  36.   grouped by 5 for faster response and less load.
  37. - fixed pasting of multiline text into query windows.
  38. - the connect info window now pops up in deactivated state.
  39. - notify list will now be properly flushed when changing servers.
  40. - incoming private CTCP ACTIONs ("Describes") had the DCC/CTCP color
  41.   instead of the private msg color.
  42. - ban list wasn't properly reread when the channel bound to a window
  43.   or the server changed.
  44. - the userlist listview now has a popup menu with all the defined actions.
  45. - userlist sorting now has three options: sort alpha, add at bottom, add at top.
  46. - several small fixes, cleanups and optmizations.
  47. - CONNECT wasn't recognized as a tooltype.
  48. - specifying server, port, autojoin or password on startup will no longer
  49.   mess up the formely selected server entry in the phonebook.
  50. - specifying a server on startup will now properly use the corresponding
  51.   phonebook entry (if existant) as a template.
  52. - fixed bug in handling DCC RESUME reject messages (which caused an endless
  53.   loop if used between two AmIRCs)
  54. - included fixed documentation, new installer, some new submissions
  55.   and new gost-sounds. Also, fixed a silly bug in the form generation
  56.   in RegisterAmIRC.
